Radcliffe & Bingham Junior Chess Club caters for all children and young people up to age 15 and for all levels of ability and experience. Members need to know the basic moves and the rules of chess to join in.
We meet on Mondays from 6:15 – 7:15 pm September to April.
At Junior Chess Club we involve members in a mixture of tuition, problem solving and friendly games. We also run formal club tournaments (including the DeLancey UK Chess Challenge) and we take part in the Notts Minor League with matches against other (mostly) junior teams.
The club is led by:
Nick London – experienced schools chess tutor, qualified FIDE National Instructor and DBS checked.
Marcel Taylor – experienced player, tutor and ECF Level 2 Arbiter.
